Repeat prescriptions submitted by 10.00am will be ready for collection at the surgery from 3.00pm the same day (collection of the prescription will be available from the pharmacy the following day if the patient has requested the prescription to go straight to the pharmacy).
If a request is submitted after 10.00am, it will be ready after 3.00pm on the following working day and available from the pharmacy the day after that if the patient has requested the prescription to go straight to the pharmacy.
To leave the telephone line free for other purposes, telephone requests for prescriptions will not be accepted.
You will be given a counterfoil with your repeat prescription. When you require your next repeat prescription, post the counterfoil in our prescription box, located in the reception area at Houston and the porch area at Bridge of Weir, indicating the items required.
Our repeat prescriptions are computerised, allowing efficient monitoring of prescribing.
Alternatively, you may post your request to the surgery with a stamped addressed envelope for posting your prescription to you, or you may order your prescription online via Patient Access. Details are available from reception staff. Patient Access also allows online booking of appointments.
Boots in both Houston and Bridge of Weir can make arrangements to order and manage your prescription requests.
If you wish your prescription to be collected by Kilbarchan Pharmacy or Penman's in Johnstone please make the pharmacies aware of this.
